Corporate Team

The Corporate Team focuses on financial planning, management and strategic partnerships for GOOD.

Position and Responsibilities

The Director of Corporate Finance & Development will collaborate with senior leadership to lead financial planning, analysis and reporting processes. This position will steward important elements of corporate development efforts including financial planning, management and strategic initiatives. The principal outcome of this role is to closely manage the company’s budget and financing activities while planning and plotting a strategy for future growth. Key responsibilities:

Lead monthly and quarterly financial reporting, analysis and forecasting activities
Perform new product analyses such as ROI, IRR, DCF and other valuation models
Conduct and report robust financial analyses of potential investments
Design and implement annual budget and quarterly forecast processes
Develop consolidated and divisional financial statement models for use in planning and forecasting
Lead preparation of profitability analyses
Serve as an instrumental resource in business opportunities, including analysis, due diligence process and investment decisions
Identify prospective strategic target and market opportunities and perform associated quantitative analysis
Manage interactions with third-party advisors/partners including legal, accounting and consulting
Continually monitor and investigate macro and micro digital media industry trends to recommend new technology sectors for evaluation and potential investment

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting from an accredited program required; Master of Business Administration from an accredited program or current Certified Public Accountant preferred
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with digital media development/management/marketing required; relevant financial modeling, analysis and reporting required; experience with digital media preferred
Proven skills in strategic and quantitative analysis, project management, negotiation, communication and leadership are essential
At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred

Ability to thoroughly understand GOOD’s unique business model through relevant experience and ability to understand its relation and application to target companies
Expert understanding of digital media, business models, customer acquisition and partnership strategies
Expert networker who has deep and effective relationships within the digital space
Expert aptitude for evaluating investment opportunities and for communicating key attributes, opportunities and risks
Excellent written/verbal communication skills using spoken English, including the ability to explain complex ideas to others throughout the organization across varying levels of expertise
Proficient ability to prepare compelling, high-impact presentations for senior organizational leaders, financiers, and other strategic and functional stakeholders and business partners
